We believe God has established purpose and order for the household: God first, a husband accountable to Him, a wife honored as his partner, and children loved, nurtured, and guided by their parents. Within that order, a husband carries a responsibility to lead through sacrificial love, spiritual initiative, provision, and care. Husband and wife share equal dignity and worth before God, and a healthy marriage makes room for both spouses’ wisdom, gifts, and voices.
That responsibility deserves deliberate preparation and daily practice.

Leadership requires action
Passivity can take the form of avoiding difficult conversations, leaving spiritual guidance entirely to someone else, withdrawing from family life, or repeatedly delaying decisions that need attention.
We call men to become present and involved: to initiate prayer, listen carefully, address problems, keep commitments, share the work of the household, and take responsibility when they fall short.
A man’s leadership should make his home a place where his wife is heard and respected, his children are safe and supported, and faith is practiced consistently. Following Christ means using strength to serve, receiving correction with humility, and seeking help when it is needed. Coercion, intimidation, and abuse have no place in that calling.
